School uniform 

Wearing The Willink School Uniform with pride is integral to a sense of identity, standards and community belonging. School uniform is compulsory for years 7-11.

The Willink Uniform is as follows: 

School Uniform

School Shoes

School shoes must be plain black (with no swooshes or stripes on the side) with low heels. Trainers and sports shoes are not permitted – this includes all Adidas and Nike, and similar sport shoe brand, "shoes". Canvas shoes/pumps, sandals, sliders, sling back shoes or boots are not permitted. Shoes must be able to be polished and be suitable for a formal working environment.

Please be aware that some brands sell items as “school shoes” but these do not fulfil the criteria of our policy and will therefore have not been acceptable since September 2019. Examples of these in previous years are Nike Airforce One and Adidas XXX branded as a “school trainer” which would not be acceptable. The following images are examples of a range of shoes which will be acceptable and can be purchased for less than £20.

To avoid unnecessary expense, please do contact school if you are uncertain about whether the shoes which you intend to buy, or have bought, fulfil the criteria outlined above.

All uniform items must be conventionally worn, without adaptations, and in good condition.

Physical Education Uniform

*Cycling shorts are not permitted as alternatives to the PE shorts depicted above.  Shorts should be loose fitting.

PE Kit can be purchased from Oliver Embroidery in Aldermaston or ordered directly from them online. 

Please note that students will be asked to borrow clean, spare kit if they forget their kit or do not have the correct kit.

Non-branded uniform items can be purchased from anywhere but should be in line with our uniform policy. 

Students are permitted to wear tailored grey Bermuda shorts from Easter to October half term. They are available to purchase from David Luke.
