Sixth Form Facilities

Sixth Form Facilities

We are proud of our excellent, dedicated Sixth Form facilities, which provide a dynamic, flexible, and supportive environment for both study and social interaction. Our spaces are designed to foster academic success, personal development, and a strong sense of community within an inclusive and friendly culture.

Students have access to a variety of purpose-built study and social areas:

  • Common Room: A large, welcoming space for both study and socialising. Students are free to relax, eat, drink, or collaborate with peers, fostering a strong sense of community.
  • Silent Study Area (S9): A quiet, focused environment specifically for 'contact time', allowing students to work independently while being supported by a supervising teacher.
  • Quiet Study Area (S7): Designed for 'non-contact time', independent study, S7 provides a calm space for concentration and reflective learning.
  • Computer Room (S5): Equipped with PCs, this room provides students with the technology they need for research, coursework, and digital learning.
  • Mini Conference Room (S4): Ideal for group study sessions, meetings, or collaborative projects, supporting teamwork and leadership development.
  • Kitchen Area: A practical and sociable space where students can prepare drinks and snacks, including with tea, coffee, and is equipped with kettle, microwave, and a toaster.
  • Sixth Form Outdoor Amphitheatre & Green Space: An outdoor space next to the Sixth Form common room, where students can study, enjoy their lunch, or socialise in the fresh air.
  • The Library Hub: A dedicated Sixth Form space within our whole school library, perfect for focused study, group work, or relaxing with a great fiction or non-fiction book.
  • Sixth Form Art Studio: A calm and creative space for Sixth Form students studying GCE Art to work on and complete their artwork.
