Remote Learning

The Willink is committed to providing a continuation of teaching and learning in the event of a partial or full closure.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, our staff used a variety of approaches to keep students engaged and motivated including live and recorded lessons, learning apps, online feedback and extension work. We have continued to spend time planning and refining our tools and techniques to prepare a remote learning experience that delivers a high quality education.

In the event of a school closure, The Willink is committed to ensuring students can continue learning, even if the school needs to close temporarily due to unusual circumstances such as extreme weather, power outages, or a pandemic.

Our staff are able to use a mix of live and recorded lessons, online apps, and digital feedback to keep learning engaging and effective. In the event of a school closure, work will be set and can be submitted through Arbor, our secure online portal, and parents/carers will be notified of closures via our communication system.

We aim to provide a high-quality, accessible remote learning experience so every student can stay on track and continue to thrive, no matter the circumstances.
