Holocaust Education Trust, Lessons from Auschwitz. 

The Holocaust Education Trust’s aim is to educate young ple from every background about the Holocaust and the important lessons to be learned for today.  This educational and commemorative project offers post-16 students the opportunity to learn about the Holocaust and consider its relevance for today. Through the bespoke interactive online platform, participants join others from across the country as they embark on an educational journey in which they: 

• Learn about the history of the Holocaust and the role of camps such as Auschwitz-Birkenau 
• Consider the individuals whose lives were affected by the Holocaust 
• Reflect on the relevance of the Holocaust today and share their learning with others

Mr Walker (who many of you know) is launching a Philosophy club in school after October Half-Term.  He is looking for Sixth Formers who are interested in discussing Big Questions and would like to gain some leadership experience by supporting the club.  Your tutor has more information.

We support young ple from less advantaged backgrounds to access leading universities and careers. In partnership with universities and employers, we run engaging programmes that give students practical advice and leave them feeling inspired and more confident about their future.

Our programmes are completely free to attend. All costs - including travel, accommodation, food and activities – are paid for by the Trust and our partners.
