The Willink is a successful and oversubscribed school with a strong international ethos, listed in the top ten non-selective schools in Berkshire in 2019. The school has 1250 students on roll including 220 in the Sixth Form, and is situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting south west of Reading.

We have experience and expertise in Initial Teacher Training and professional development and are a strategic partner to the Teaching School Hub Berkshire. The Willink is the lead school for the Mobius Maths Hub – a national centre for excellence in the teaching and leadership of mathematics education.

Teacher of Social Science (specialism in Psychology)

We require a committed colleague with a real passion for the provision of quality and imaginative teaching to join an experienced, supportive and high achieving Science Department Faculty. Psychology, Criminology and Sociology is taught to A Level. We are looking for a specialist Psychology teacher who can teach other disciplines – this is particularly so for a full-time post.

We require a committed and ambitious colleague with a real passion for the provision of high quality and imaginative teaching to join an experienced, supportive and outstanding Mathematics Department (80% of students achieved a grade 5+ and 40% grade 7+ in their Mathematics GCSE in 2022). We are looking to appoint a teacher to teach across the age and ability range. There is the opportunity to teach A level Maths students for a suitably qualified and passionate practitioner.  About half our students follow Maths/Further Maths at A Level.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, motivated and inspirational teacher to join our enthusiastic, ambitious, dynamic and very supportive English Faculty. The successful applicant will have the skills to motivate and engage staff and students, and to enrich the lives and learning experiences of our young people. The faculty teaches English Language and English Literature to A Level and opportunities to teach media are available. We require a well-organised, and suitably qualified / experienced individual to join our team of science technicians.

The team of three technicians support all science lessons in the school, and a team spirit and flexible approach are vital.
