Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Careers Leader and Educational Visits Co-ordinator (EVC) to join our successful and oversubscribed school.
The post holder will plan the implementation of a careers strategy, develop a Whole School Careers programme that meets all Gatsby benchmark criteria and prepares students for the choices and transitions in education, training and employment. In addition the post holder co-ordinates contributions to careers guidance services and employers.
The post holder will also provide effective and professional administrative support to visit leaders to ensure the education visits organised by the school are well researched and documented, planned and organised, risk assessed and managed appropriately to ensure their success.
The Willink is a successful and oversubscribed school with a strong international ethos, listed in the top ten non-selective schools in Berkshire in 2019. The school has 1250 students on roll including 220 in the Sixth Form, and is situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting south west of Reading.
Salary & Hours
- 26 hours per week (Term time only + 5 inset days)
- Band F11 – F19 £28,142 - £32,061 Full time equivalent (pro rata £16,763.04 - £19,097.43)
